We came back into town for 1 day to pick up our families. We are ready to get up the mountain!

Sarah has to sit in the front seat – she gets car sick otherwise!

Uh-oh! It's raining hard – the highway is okay, but the dirt road up the mountain is going to be muddy!

On the top left of this picture the road leads up to the mountains. We were delayed for 6 hours while we watched our friends through binoculars get stuck in the mud on the mountain road up the hill!

We finally made it up the hill to our house! We had to leave our trailer at the bottom, though because of the mud!

First thing we did was finish making the kids' bunk bed. Are you wondering how Isaac is going to get to the top? Jump carefully, Isaac!

Okay, not really! Ike has a ladder, and Abby is happy to have a bed! Abby and Sarah shared beds.

The next thing to make – a pantry! Old sticks, wooden planks, a saw, hammer, and nails will do the job!

To make it a home – a carpet so we can relax and play games on the floor, and shower curtains to close off the rooms at night!

Tree falling class! Don't worry, tree huggers! We were only allowed to cut down already dead trees!

We need somewhere to eat besides the floor! Make a kitchen table! The benches and table top were the planks we cut from the tree chopped down!

Ginny will be happy when my tools are off the floor! So, time to make another set of shelves! By the way, that is our bed on the right.

We are now a happy family eating dinner in our plastic house on our homemade kitchen table!

It is hard to see, but this is our other kitchen counter, besides the one next to the sink.

A little decorating, and we have a happy, homey finished kitchen!

We are now going to see some friends at our little mountain tribal village! It really reminded me of some of the villages we went to in Thailand!

A campfire with friends, and the kids enjoyed every kid's favorite – roasted marshmallows!

A little helper came with me to inspect the water tank!
